Jio 399 plan hiked to 459 & Jio 149 plan’s data got doubled

Reliance Jio recently stated on its website that customers would have to pay 15% more on its existing 399 plan which offers 1GB high-speed 4G data for 84 days.

The good news is subscribers of the Rs.149 plan will now get 4GB data daily instead of 2GB for a validity period of 28 days under the new scheme “Diwali Dhamaka.”


Jio has also reduced the recharge tariffs of the lower denomination and short-term plans while offering data benefits under the schemes.

According to official Jio website, it has introduced a new Rs.52 and a Rs.98 plan which will offer 0.15GB data daily for one week and two weeks respectively. The plan will also provide free calling, free SMS, and free Roaming, etc.

All other plans from the company will continue offering unlimited free calling even while roaming.

The Rs. 459 plan of Jio will offer 1GB high-speed 4G data daily for 84 days and when the 1Gb daily limit is exhausted speed will get reduced to 128Kbps. The plan will also provide unlimited calling, free roaming and unlimited SMS for the same validity period. It will also offer unlimited access to Jio apps.

The company has also reduced the validity on the Rs. 509 plan which earlier used to be 56 days but now it is 49 days reducing the total data from 112 GB to 98 GB.

The data cost under this plan will be Rs. 5.2per GB

The 999 plan from the company which earlier provided 90 GB data without a FUP limit will now be offering 60 GB 4G data for 84 days.
